Candidate should have passed Essential: (i) At least Second Class Master’s degree in Chemistry or Physics of a recognized University or equivalent. (ii) 3 years experience of research or teaching or work in a Govt. Records Office. (iii) Knowledge of Konkani. Desirable: (i) Training in modern methods of rehabilitation & preservation of records. (ii) Research on paper ink, leather, examination of documents, use of insecticides and fumigants; practical experience & training in high class binding work in a responsible capacity. (iii) Experience in repair and / or preservation of records in a Government Records Office. (iv) Knowledge of Marathi.
