Goa Public Service Commission (GPSC) invites applications for recruitment of Junior Gynaecologist, Assistant Director of Tourism, Senior Translator (Konkani), Superintendent of Fisheries, Veterinary Officer in Panaji. Last date for application is 27th May 2016.
Junior Gynaecologist - 01
Educational Qualification:(i) A recognised Medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualification) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the said Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. (ii) Postgraduate degree, failing which post-graduate diploma, in the speciality concerned. (iii) In case of Diploma holders, Work in responsible position connected with the speciality concerned for 2 years after post-graduation Diploma. (iv) Knowledge of Konkani. Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.
Pay Scale:Rs. 15,600-39,100 + Grade Pay Rs.5,400/-
Age Limit:not exceeding 40 years.
Assistant Director of Tourism - 02
Educational Qualification:(i) Degree in Tourism/Hotel Management/Hospitality, from a recognised University. (ii) Six years work experience in Hotel/Tourism Industries. (iii) Knowledge of History and culture of India and must be familiar with places of Tourist interest in India, in general and Goa in particular. (iv) Computer literate. (v) Knowledge of Konkani. Desirable: (i) Knowledge of Foreign languages other than English language, preferably French, German or Russian. (ii) Masters Degree in Tourism/Hospitality, from a recognised University. (iii) MBA/PGDBM/PGDM, from a recognised University. (iv) Knowledge of Marathi.
Pay Scale:Rs. 9,300-34,800 + Grade Pay Rs.4,600/-
Age Limit:not exceeding 40 years.
Senior Translator (Konkani) - 03
Educational Qualification:(i) Post Graduate Degree in Konkani from a recognised University or equivalent. (ii) At least five years experience in translation from Konkani to English and vice versa. Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi
Pay Scale:Rs. 9,300-34,800 + Grade Pay Rs.4,200/-
Age Limit:not exceeding 40 years.
Superintendent of Fisheries - 01
Educational Qualification:(i) Master Degree in Fisheries Science or Bachelor Degree in Fisheries Science or Post graduate diploma in Fisheries, failing which Masters Degree in Marine Science/Zoology/Marine Biology from a recognized University. (ii) 3 years in Research/Field work in a Marine/Inland Fisheries/Aquaculture. (iii) Knowledge of Konkani. Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.
Pay Scale:Rs. 9,300-34,800 + Grade Pay Rs.4,600/-
Age Limit:not exceeding 40 years.
Veterinary Officer - 24
Educational Qualification:(i) Recognised Veterinary qualification included in the First or Second Schedule to the Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984 (Central Act 52 of 1984) and registered with a Goa State Veterinary Council. (ii) Knowledge of Konkani. Desirable: (i) Experience in Cattle Development or Poultry Development or running of a Veterinary Dispensary. (ii) Knowledge of Marathi.
Pay Scale:Rs. 9,300-34,800 + Grade Pay Rs.4,600/-
Age Limit:not exceeding 40 years.
