Goa Public Service Commission (GPSC) invites applications for recruitment of Paediatrician, Junior Physician, Medical Officer, Public Health Dentist, Assistant Director, Scientific Officer, District Welfare Officer, Assistant Professor in Panaji. Last date for application is 28th April 2016
Paediatrician - 02
Educational Qualification: (i) A recognised Medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualification) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. (102 of 1956). Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in Sub-section (3) of Section 13 of the said Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. (ii) Post graduate degree, failing which post-graduate diploma, in speciality concerned. (iii) Work in a responsible position connected with the speciality concerned for 3 years after post-graduation Degree or five years after post-graduation Diploma. (iv) Knowledge of Konkani. Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.
Pay Scale:Rs. 15,600-39,100 + Grade Pay Rs.6,600/-
Age Limit:not exceeding 40 years.
Junior Physician - 02
Educational Qualification:(i) A recognised Medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualification) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the said Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. (ii) Postgraduate degree, failing which post-graduate diploma, in the speciality concerned. (iii) In case of Diploma holders, Work in responsible position connected with the speciality concerned for 2 years after post-graduation Diploma. (iv) Knowledge of Konkani. Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.
Pay Scale:Rs. 15,600-39,100 + Grade Pay Rs.5,400/-
Age Limit:not exceeding 40 years.
Medical Offficer - 01
Educational Qualification:(i) A recognized Medical qualification included in the First or the Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in Section 18 (3) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 or a degree of Goa Medical School (MedicoCirurgiao). (ii) Completion of compulsory rotating internship. (iii) Knowledge of Konkani. Desirable: (i) Experience in the general medical practice or the concerned speciality as the case may be. (ii) Knowledge of Marathi.

Public Health Dentist - 03
Educational Qualification:(i). A degree qualification included in Part I or Part II of the schedule to the Dentist Act, 1948 (16 of 1948). (ii) Knowledge of Konkani. Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.
Pay Scale:Rs. 15,600-39,100 + Grade Pay Rs.5,400/-
Age Limit:not exceeding 40 years.
Assistant Director in Forensic Science Laboratory - 03
Educational Qualification:(i) Master’s Degree in Science with at least second class from a recognized University. (ii) Should possess at least 8 years practical experience in a State/Central Forensic Science Laboratory. (iii) Knowledge of Konkani. Desirable: (i) Doctorate Degree in Science from a recognized University. (ii) Should be Computer literate. (iii) Knowledge of Marathi.
Pay Scale:Rs. 15,600-39,100 + Grade Pay Rs.6,600/-
Age Limit:not exceeding 40 years.
Scientific Officer in Forensic Science Laboratory - 04
Educational Qualification:(i) Degree in Social Service or Social Welfare or Social work or Sociology or Psychology from a recognised University or equivalent. (ii) 5 years experience in Social Work in any Government recognised Social Welfare Organization. (iii) Knowledge of Konkani. Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi
Pay Scale:Rs. 9,300-34,800 + Grade Pay Rs.4,200/-
Age Limit:not exceeding 40 years.
Assistant Professor (Tabla) in Goa College of Music - 01
Educational Qualification:(i) Good Academic record with at least 55% of marks or equivalent grade at Master’s Degree level in the relevant subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from a foreign University. (ii) National Eligibility Test (NET)/State Level Eligibility Test (SET) shall remain the compulsory requirement for appointment as Assistant Professor: Provided, however, that candidates who are or have been awarded Ph. D. Degree in compliance of the “University Grants Commission (minimum standards and procedure for award of Ph. D. Degree), Regulation 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in Colleges”. (iii) Knowledge of Konkani. Desirable: (i) Ph. D. or M. Phil. in the relevant subject. (ii) Knowledge of Marathi.

District Welfare Officer - 01
Educational Qualification:(i) Degree in Social Service or Social Welfare or Social work or Sociology or Psychology from a recognised University or equivalent. (ii) 5 years experience in Social Work in any Government recognised Social Welfare Organization. (iii) Knowledge of Konkani. Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.
