Assistant Professors in Government College
Educational Qualification:(i) Good Academic record with at least 55% of marks or equivalent grade at Master’s Degree level in the relevant subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from a foreign University. (ii) National Eligibility Test (NET)/State Level Eligibility Test (SET) shall remain the compulsory requirement for appointment as Assistant Professor: Provided, however, that candidates who are or have been awarded Ph. D. Degree in compliance of the “University Grants Commission (minimum standards and procedure for award of Ph. D. Degree), Regulation 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in Colleges”. (iii) Knowledge of Konkani. Desirable: (i) Ph. D. or M. Phil. in the relevant subject. (ii) Knowledge of Marathi.
Pay Scale:Rs.15,600-39,100 + Grade Pay Rs.6,000/-
Age Limit:Not exceeding 45 years.

Principal/Head of the Institute
Educational Qualification:(i) Ph. D. or equivalent from a recognized University in appropriate discipline. (Persons guiding Ph.D. students and having Post Ph. D. Publications is highly desirable). (ii) B.E./B.Tech. and M.E./M.Tech. in relevant branch from a recognized University with First Class or equivalent either in B.E./B.Tech. or M.E./M.Tech. (iii) Minimum 10 years experience in teaching/research/industry out of which at least 3 years shall be at the level of Professor. OR (iii) Minimum 13 years experience in teaching and/or research and/or industry. Note: In case of research experience, good academic record and books/research paper publications/IPR/patents record shall be required as deemed fit by the expert members of the Selection Committee. If the experience in industry is considered, the same shall be at managerial level equivalent to Professor level with active participation record in devising/designing, developing, planning, executing, analyzing, quality control, innovating, training, technical books/research paper publications/IPR/patents, etc. as deemed fit by the expert members of the Selection Committee. Flair for Management and Leadership is essential. (iv) Knowledge of Konkani. Desirable: (i) Administrative experience in a responsible position. (ii) Knowledge of Marathi.
Pay Scale:Rs.37,400-67,000 + Grade Pay Rs.10,000/-

Commercial Tax Officer
Educational Qualification:(i) Degree of a recognized University or equivalent, preferably in Commerce or Economics. (ii) Associates Membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants OR 3 years experience in commercial accounts in a Government or a Semi-Government Organisation or in a Commercial or Banking firm or in a firm of Chartered Accountants. (iii) Knowledge of Konkani. Desirable: (i) Degree in Law of a recognized University or equivalent. (ii) Knowledge of Marathi.
Pay Scale:Rs.9,300-34,800 + Grade Pay Rs.4,600/-

Scientific Assistant in Forensic Science Laboratory (Polygraphy)
Educational Qualification:(i) Master’s Degree in Science/Master’s Degree in Arts, with at least second class from a recognised University with specialization in the discipline of Psychology and (ii) Knowledge of Konkani. Desirable: (i) Should be Computer literate. (ii) Knowledge of Marathi.
Pay Scale: Rs. 35,400-1,12,400/- Per Month

Educational Qualification:(i) Master’s Degree in Social Service or Social Welfare or Social Work or Sociology or Psychology from a recognised University or equivalent.
