Goa Public Service Commission (GPSC) invites applications for recruitment of Assistant Professor, Lecturer, Gynaecologist, Medical Officer, Principal, Deputy Town Planner in Panaji. Last date for application is 31st March 2016.
Assistant Professor in Neurology - 01
Educational Qualification: (i) A recognised medical qualification included in the First or the Second Schedule or Part-II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (Act No. 102 of 1956). Holders of qualifications included in Part-II of the Third Schedule should also fulfil the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (Act No. 102 of 1956). (ii) Post graduate degree or equivalent in the concerned super-speciality or equivalent. (iii) At least one-year teaching and/or research experience in a recognized Medical College/Teaching Institution in the subject of super-speciality after obtaining the qualifying degree of Doctorate of Medicine (D.M.)/Master of Chirurgiae (M.Ch.). (iv) Knowledge of Konkani. Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.
Pay Scale:Rs. 15,600-39,100 + Grade Pay Rs.6,600/-
Age Limit:not exceeding 45 years.
Lecturer in Oral Medicine and Radiology - 01
Educational Qualification: (i) A qualification included in Part I or Part II of the Schedule to the Dentists Act, 1948 (16 of 1948). (ii) Post-Graduate qualification in Dentistry i.e. Master of Dental Surgery in concerned speciality/subject from a recognized institution or equivalent. (iii) Should be registered with Dental Council. (iv) Knowledge of Konkani. Desirable: (i) One year teaching experience after post graduation in a recognized Institute. (ii) Three years experience as Registrar/Tutor/Senior Resident/Demonstrator in the concerned speciality of Dentistry in a recognized Dental College/Medical College with Dental Wing/Dental Institution. (iii) Knowledge of Marathi.
Pay Scale:Rs. 15,600-39,100 + Grade Pay Rs.5,400/-
Age Limit:not exceeding 40 years.
Junior Gynaecologist - 01
Educational Qualification: (i) A recognised Medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part-II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualification) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third The schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the said Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. (ii) Postgraduate degree, failing which post-graduate diploma, in the speciality concerned. (iii) In the case of Diploma holders, Work in a responsible position connected with the speciality concerned for 2 years after post-graduation Diploma. (iv) Knowledge of Konkani. Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.

Age Limit:not exceeding 40 years.
Medical Officer - 12
Educational Qualification: (i) A recognized Medical qualification included in the First or the Second Schedule or Part-II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in Part-II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in Section 18 (3) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 or a degree of Goa Medical School (MedicoCirurgiao). (ii) Completion of compulsory rotating internship. (iii) Knowledge of Konkani. Desirable: (i) Experience in the general medical practice or the concerned speciality as the case may be. (ii) Knowledge of Marathi.

Age Limit:not exceeding 40 years.
Principal (Maritime School) - 01
Educational Qualification: (i) S.S.C. or equivalent. (ii) Master or Mate (Home Trade). OR 2nd Engineer M.O.T. OR 2nd Mate (Foreign going) OR Diploma in ShipBuilding Institute. OR Master Chief Petty Officer Gr. I or Gr. II from the Indian Navy OR Master Chief Mechanical Engineer Gr. I or Gr. II from Indian Navy. (iii) Two years experience as Instructor in the Maritime School or similar Institute. (iv) Knowledge of Konkani. Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.
Pay Scale:Rs. 9,300-34,800 + Grade Pay Rs.4,600/-
Age Limit:not exceeding 40 years.
Deputy Town Planner - 03
Educational Qualification: (i) S.S.C. or equivalent. (ii) Master or Mate (Home Trade). OR 2nd Engineer M.O.T. OR 2nd Mate (Foreign going) OR Diploma in Ship Building Institute. OR Master Chief Petty Officer Gr. I or Gr. II from the Indian Navy OR Master Chief Mechanical Engineer Gr. I or Gr. II from Indian Navy. (iii) Two years experience as Instructor in the Maritime School or similar Institute. (iv) Knowledge of Konkani. Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.
