Education Required :

a) Good academic record with at least 55% of the marks or an equivalent grade of in the seven point scale with latter grades, 0, A, B, C, D. and E & F at the Master's Degree Level in the relevant subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from a foreign University. However, relaxation of 5% marks i.e. from 55% to 50% is allowed for candidates having PhD degree and passed their Master Degree prior to 19.09.91. b) ‘NET' shall remain compulsory requirement for appointment as Lecturer for those with Poet-Graduate degree. However the candidates having Ph.D degree in the concerned subject are exempted from NET for PG level and UG level teaching. The candidates having M.Phi1 degree in the concerned subject are exempted from NET for UG level teaching only.
