West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBPSC) invites applications for recruitment of Sub Inspector in Kolkata. Last date for application is 10th May 2016.
(PB-4) Rs.9000-40500 + Minimum Pay in the pay band Rs.10230/-) with Grade Pay Rs. 4700/- plus allowances as are admissible.
i) Second Class Master Degree or Second Class Honours Degree with at least 50% Marks from a recognised University or Equivalent. The candidate must have also obtained minimum 55% marks in Madhyamik and 50% marks in Higher Secondary or equivalent examination from a recognised Board or Council; ii) A Bachelor’s Degree in Teaching or Education from a recognised University or equivalent; iii) Good Knowledge of Bengali - Spoken and Written; iv) Ability to undertake extensive tour on official duty. (B) Desirable : i) Teaching experience in School; ii) Proficiency in Games and Sports; iii) Ability to organise extra-curricular activities; iv) Should be acquainted with social customs and culture of the Minorities of West Bengal.
