V O Chidambaranar Port Trust invites applications for recruitment of Driver in Tuticorin. Last date for application is 2nd July 2016.
Rs.23600-56300/- Per Month
(i)Matriculation or its equivalent; Should be in possession of First Class Driver Certificate issued under Major Port Harbour Craft Rules/ I.V. Act, 1917; (OR) (ii) Should be in possession of Certificate of Competency as Engine Driver of a Motor Vessel having engines of less than 565 BHP issued by the Mercantile Marine Department under Major Port Harbour Crafts Rules; (iii)Three years service as engine Driver in handling vessels with above capacity; (iv) Knowledge of Swimming. (v) Should pass the trade test prescribed and conducted by the Port.
