Research Associate (RA)

Educational Qualification:Masters in GeologylEarth Sciences/ Geophysics with at least 55% marls; Ph.D. in climate change science/ glaciology/geochronology. Desirable: Field research experience of working in climate change science/ glaciology/ geochronology. NET/SET qualified; research papers published in refereed Joumals.

Pay Scale:Rs.23000/- Per Month + HRA

Age Limit:As Per Rules.

Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Educational Qualification: M.Sc. in Geology with at least 55% of marks; NET/ SET qualified ;candidate with M.Phil. shall be preferred. Masters in Economics with at least55% of marks; NET/SET qualified; the candidate with M.Phil. in climate change and socioeconomic and livelihoods issues shall be preferred. Desirable: Field experience of working in high altitude; knowledge of RS & GIS Working knowledge of computer, statistical software/ tools.

Pay Scale:Rs.16000/- Per Month + HRA

Age Limit:As Per Rules.

Field Assistant

Educational Qualification:10+2 passed with sufficient knowledge of working and cooking in high altitude camps. Desirable: Field experience of working in high altitude.
