The candidate should have a Ph.D. degree in Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology or related areas. Job description: 1) Genomic and metagenomic approaches for identifying novel cellulolytic enzymes for higher cellulase activities. 2) Bulk enzyme production (solid state/or submerged fermentation). 3) Evaluation of enzymes for higher enzymatic hydrolysis studies using pre-treated lignocellulosic biomass.
