Pay Scale: As per UGC Norms

Qualification Required: Food Science and Nutrition: Master of Science in Food Science and Nutrition/Food Science and Technology/ Food and Nutrition with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed). A pass in NET/SLET/SET in the relevant discipline. (OR) Candidates who have been awarded a Ph.D. degree in Food Science and Nutrition/Food Science and Technology /Food and Nutrition in accordance with University Grants Commission Regulations 2009. Textiles and Apparel Design: (i) Master of Science in Textiles and Apparel Design/Textiles and Clothing/Costume Design and Fashion/Textiles and Fashion Designing/Textile Science and Fashion Designing with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) (ii) A pass in NET/SLET/SET in the relevant discipline. (OR) Candidates, who have been awarded a Ph.D. degree in Textiles and Apparel Design/Textiles and Clothing/Costume Design and Fashion/Textiles and Fashion Designing/Textile Science and Fashion Designing in accordance with University Grants Commission Regulations 2009, shall be exempted from NET/SLET/SET.
