Maharashtra Maritime Board (MMB) invites applications for recruitment of Deputy Director, Construction QC / QA Engineer, Social /Institutional Officer, Design Engineer, Public Relation Officer, Environment Officer, Site Engineer, Fisheries Officer, Tourism Officer, Port Officer, Forestry Officer, Panchayat Officer, Secretaries / Computer Operator, Accountant in Mumbai. Last date for application is 14th May 2016.
Deputy Director - 01
Educational Qualification:A Senior Officer with 15 years of working experience in finance / accounts / administration area of which at least 3 years as head of section / unit Knowledge of modern accounting / financial systems is essential. Candidate having the qualification of Company Secretary or Chartered Accountant with 5 years experience will be eligible to apply.
Pay Scale:Rs.15600-39100 + Grade Pay Rs.7600/-

Construction QC / QA Engineer - 02
Educational Qualification:Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering with at least 5 years professional experience and should have project implementation experience at ground level with exposure to QC / QA system. Desired skill- knowledge of coastal engineering and experience of working project for coastal infrastructure, Shoreline protection etc.
Pay Scale:Rs.15600-39100 + Grade Pay Rs.5400/-

Social / Institutional Officer - 01
Educational Qualification:Master degree in Social Sciences / Social work. At least 3 years experience of working on community-based schemes with NGOs or in rural development /social welfare department of Government. Must have knowledge of Marathi language and good interpersonal skills essential. Desired skills.Ability to translate project's vision to the local community and communicate community's concern to the project executing authority

Design Engineer - 01
Educational Qualification:Masters degree in civil engineering with at least 5 years professional experience. Should have project design experience with knowledge of computer aided design & analysis. Desired skills. Specialisation in coastal engineering.

Public Relation Officer - 01
Educational Qualification:Masters degree in PR from a reputed institution. At least 3 years professional experience in PR Department of Government or corporate sector. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required. Should be well versed in the use of media for communication and information dissemination. Desired skills. Experience in sustainable development /environmental activities etc. Ability to convey scientific / technological projects to common public.

Environment Officer - 01
Educational Qualification:Mid ranking officer with at least 5 years experience in Government Organisation. Knowledge of sector procedures essential along with an ability to monitor environmental plans and follow up.

Site Engineer - 01
Educational Qualification:Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering with at least 2 years professional experience and should have project implementation experience at ground level with exposure to QC / QA system and knowledge of Marathi. Desired skill- Experience of coastal engineering / maritime projects

Fisheries Officer - 01
Educational Qualification:Master or Bachelor Degree in Fisheries Science. Knowledge of sector procedures essential along with an ability to monitor and follow up. Preference may be given to the candidates who have experience of 2 years in fisheries field.

Tourism Officer - 01
Educational Qualification:MBA in Tourism Management or Journalism. Knowledge of sector procedures essential along with an ability to monitor and follow up. Preference may be given to the candidates who have experience of 2 years in the tourism field.

Port Officer - 01
Educational Qualification:Possess Certificate of competency as Master of Foreign going ship granted by Government of India. Preference may be given to the candidates who have held command of a Foreign-going ship for period of not less than 6 months.

Forestry Officer - 01
