(i) Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or (ii) with nine years of regular service in the post of Staff Car Driver in Pay Band -1 Rs. 5,200-20,200/-, with Grade Pay of Rs. 1,900/- (Pre-revised), subject to passing of trade test of appropriate standard as prescribed by the Government.
