Job Description: Assam University invites applications for recruitment of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) / Senior Research Fellow (SRF), Research Associate in Silchar. Last date for application is 28th April 2016.

Pay Scale: JRF: Rs.25,000/ + HRA for the 1st two years and Rs 28,000/- + HRA for the 3rd year for SRF and applicable only if JRF/SRF is NET/GATE/DBTBET/BINC qualified, otherwise it shall be Rs 12,000/- +HRA only for the 1st two years (for JRF) and Rs 14,000/- + HRA for the 3rd year (for SRF). Research Associate: Rs. 36,000+ HRA

Qualification Required: The candidates must possess minimum 60% marks in M Sc. in Life Science / Biotechnology / Biochemistry/Botany or related discipline with good academic records for the JRF/SRF position. Preference will be given to candidates having demonstrated experience in the related research. For Research Associate position the candidate should have a Ph.D. degree or have submitted the Ph.D. degree in the relevant fields as mentioned above.
