1) M. Tech in Atmospheric Sciences / Computer Sciences / Meteorology / Physical Oceanography or M. Sc. in Meteorology / Atmospheric Science / Physics / Mathematics with at least two subjects from Atmospheric Science, Mathematics, Physics at graduate level with NET or equivalent Desirable Qualification: Candidates with Post-Graduate Degree or Diploma in Atmospheric Sciences from reputed university / institute in India / abroad, work experience with atmospheric models (MOZART, GEOS-CHEM, WRF-CHEM etc.) and computer programming skills (Fortran, C, C++, Matlab, IDL, Python, MPI etc.) with knowledge of Linux will be given preference. 2) M. Sc. in Agricultural Meteorology / Agricultural Physics / Agronomy / Plant Physiology OR M. Sc. In Atmospheric Sciences / Environmental Sciences OR M. Tech in RS&GIS applications with specialization in agriculture / ecology. with NET or equivalent* Desirable Qualification: Knowledge of micrometeorology, vegetation functioning and ecosystem modeling is desirable. Knowledge and experience on programming skill (C++, Python, IDL, MATLAB) is preferable.
