Candidate should have passed Master degree in Agriculture/ Horticulture/ /Forestry/Veterinary Sciences/ Botany or Bachelor Degree in Agricultural Engineering/ Information Technology/Environmental Sciences. Preference may be given to candidates with Doctorate Degree/Master of Technology in the above disciplines and having at least 10 years of field experience in farming system/natural resource management/ monitoring information system/programme evaluation or 5 years experience in the rank of Additional Commissioner or above in Government of India, handling agriculture programmes.
