Candidate should have passed 1. Masters degree in the concerned discipline with a minimum of 55% marks or, an equivalent grade of B in the seven-point scale of UGC from a recognized University. 2. Should have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC including SLET. However, candidates having PhD from a recognized University are exempted from the condition of NET/SLET.
