According to a provision passed in assembly, one must be a eligible and holder of minimum qualifications required in order to be posted as a teacher in primary and secondary schools across the country in order to improve level and quality of education in government schools because we all know that nowadays education level of government schools are considered low as compared to private schools.

UP TET 2018-2016 notification was published in December 2018 in which authorities have invited online application by all those candidates who are striving hard to get a job of teachers in primary and upper primary schools in the state. As this examination is mandatory to crack, thousands of candidates have tried out their luck and submitted their candidature.

UPTET Examination date was 2^nd February 2018 and it was organized during morning and afternoon session and according to said same schedule by officials, it was finished without any kind of riots or non violence so this might be considered huge success for responsible authoritative.
