Candidates should have Masters’ Degree in Life Sciences/ Forestry/ /Environmental Sciences/Biological Sciences/Wildlife Science with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks from a recognized University plus one year work experience after obtaining the master’s degree. Desirable: Experience in conducting surveys relating to various taxonomic groups (Mammals, Birds, Aquatic fauna, Herpetofauna, Entomofauna, Vegetation).

Science and Research Jobs
1. A written examination of one-hour duration having multiple choice questions will be conducted on (a) General awareness and (b) Wildlife Science at 1100 hrs. The examination will be based on M.Sc. (Wildlife Sciences) syllabus available at http://www.wii.gov.in/masters_wildlife_2_years. 2. Based on performance in the written examination, candidates will be shortlisted for interview, which will be conducted from 3 PM onwards on 29 December 2017
