Job Description: Vasantdada Sugar Institute (VSI) invites applications for recruitment of Research Assistant in Pune. Last date for application is 14th June 2016.

Pay Scale: Rs.12,000/- per month

Qualification Required: Young dynamic candidate, having Masters degree in Microbiology (M.Sc. Microbiology) having good knowledge of microbial techniques. Should work on laboratory scale, pot scale and field scale research on sugarcane weeds. Good knowledge of technical assistance in actual protocol of all R&D, laboratory and field related studies. Toxicological studies of Bioweedicide, statistical data analysis, preparation of Research reports etc. Experience in relevant field will be appreciated.

Experience Required: Minimum 1 year and maximum 3 years experience in R&D in Microbiology, especially related to laboratory and field research in sugarcane, weeds, bioweedicide and toxicological studies will be appreciated.
