Job Description: Indian Institute of Vegetable Research (IIVR) invites applications for recruitment of Senior Research Fellow (SRF) in Varanasi. Last date for application is 3rd June 2016.

Senior Research Fellow (SRF) - 01
Educational Qualification:M.Sc. (Agriculture) - Vegetable Science or M.Sc. (Agriculture)- Horticulture specialization in Vegetable Crops with 04 years/05years Bachelors degree having 1st division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average. Candidates having post graduate degree in basic science with 3 year Bachelor’s degree and 02 years master’s degree should have NET qualification. Desirable : Working experience of vegetable crops and knowledge of Computer.
Pay Scale:Rs.25000/- p.m. + HRA for 1st and 2nd year and Rs.28000/- p.m. for 3rd year.
Age Limit:not more than 35 years for men and 40 years for women.
Senior Research Fellow (SRF) - 01
Educational Qualification:M.Sc. (Agriculture) Horticulture/Vegetable/Agronomy/Soil Science & Agricultural Chemistry with 04 years/ 05 years Bachelors degree having 1st division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average. Candidates having post graduate degree in basic science with 3 year Bachelor’s degree and 02 years master’s degree should have NET qualification. Desirable : Working experience of vegetable crops, working experience in analysis of soil and plant samples, handling of N analyzer, Flame photometer, Spectrophotometer etc. and working knowledge of computer. .
Pay Scale:Rs.25000/- p.m. + HRA for 1st and 2nd year and Rs.28000/- p.m. for 3rd year.

Senior Research Fellow (SRF) - 01

(Agriculture) – Soil Science /Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry with 04 years/ 05years Bachelors degree having 1st division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average. Candidates having post graduate degree in basic science with 3 year Bachelor’s degree and 02 years master’s degree should have NET qualification. Desirable : Working experience of vegetable crops, working experience in analysis of soil and plant samples, handling of Nanalyzer, Flame photometer, Spectrophotometer, AAS etc. and working knowledge of computer i.e. MS Office and MS Excel.
Pay Scale:Rs.25000/- p.m. + HRA for 1st and 2nd year and Rs.28000/- p.m. for 3rd year.

Senior Research Fellow (SRF) - 02
Educational Qualification:M.Sc. (Agriculture) – Vegetable Science/Horticulture/Seed Tech./Genetics/Plant Breeding/Plant Physiology with 04 years/05years Bachelors degree having 1st division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average. Candidates having post graduate degree in basic science with 3 year Bachelor’s degree and 02 years master’s degree should have NET qualification.
Pay Scale:Rs.25000/- p.m. + HRA for 1st and 2nd year and Rs.28000/- p.m. for 3rd year.
