Good academic record with at least 55% of the marks or, an equivalent grade of B in 7 point scale with letter grades O, A, B,C, D, E & F at the Masters degree level, in concerned Subjects from a recognized Indian University or equivalent degree from a foreign University. Candidates should have cleared the National Eligibility Test (IJET) in concerned Subjects for Assistant Professor post conducted by the ASRB/UGC/CSIR or a similar test accredited by the ICAR/ICMR/NCERT/ UGC/CSIR i.e., (a) For Agriculrure/Animal Husbandry / veterinary disciplines, ASRB/ ICAR Net in the concemed Subject is prescribed (b) For Humanities, languages etc. UCC NET is prescribed (c) For pure science CSIR NET is prescribed.
