ESIC-PGIMSR & ESIC Medical College invites applications for recruitment of Faculty Positions in Kolkata. Last date for application is 19th March 2016.
Professor - 08
Experience:Three years teaching experience as Associate Professor in the concerned specialty in a recognized medical college with minimum of four research publications in indexed/national journals provided that these research publications are published/accepted for publications in the Journals by the National Associations/Societies of the respective specialties as the First Author.
Educational Qualification: Essential for Medical Candidates: A recognized medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part-II of the Third Schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in Part-II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions in Section 13 (3) of the Act. A Post Graduate qualification e.g. MD/MS (Doctor of Medicine and Master of Surgery) or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective subject/allied discipline. Essential for Non-Medical Candidates: A Post Graduate qualification i.e. Masters Degree in the concerned subject/allied discipline. A Doctorate degree from a recognized University in the respective subject/allied discipline.
Pay Scale:(PB-4) Rs.37400-67000 + Grade Pay Rs.8700/- + NPA
Age Limit:67 years.
Associate Professor - 15
Experience:Four years teaching experience as Assistant Professor in the concerned specialty in a recognized medical college with minimum of two research publications in indexed/national journals provided that these research publications are published/accepted for publications in the Journals by the National Associations/Societies of the respective specialties as the First Author.

Experience:For the candidates possessing MD/MS (Doctor of Medicine and Master of Surgery) Degree from MCI recognized medical colleges: Three years teaching experience in the subject as Resident/Registrar/Demonstrator/Tutor in a recognized medical college either during the post-graduate course or after obtaining a post-graduate degree in the subject.
