Job Description: National Institute for the Mentally Handicapped (NIMH) invites applications for recruitment of Assistant Research Officer, Project Assistant, Research Officer, Vocational Instructors in Secunderabad. Last date for application is 5th July 2016.

Assistant Research Officer - 02
Educational Qualification:a. M.Phil in SE (MR) (or) b. M.Ed.SE(MR) with Masters Degree c. 2 years experience in disability rehabilitation in the field of MR and working with parents. Desirable: a. Computer operational knowledge. b. Experience in preparing manuals/modules for training PWIDs
Pay Scale:Rs.300/- per session (maximum of 4 sessions a day)
Age Limit:as per rules.
Project Assistant - 01
Educational Qualification:Graduate with Diploma in Vocational Rehabilitation/D.Ed.SE.MR/B.Ed.SE.MR with typing skills with 30 wpm and computer skills (knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Power Point)
Pay Scale:Rs.175/- per session (maximum of 4 sessions a day)
Age Limit:as per rules.
Research Officer - 03
Educational Qualification:M.Phil in Rehabilitation Psychology with 1 year of experience in the field with minimum 2 peer reviewed National / International Journal publications.
Pay Scale:Rs.400/- per session (maximum of 4 sessions a day
Age Limit:as per rules.
Vocational Instructors
Educational Qualification:DVR(MR)/DVTE(MR) with Graduation with 2 years post qualification experience in the field of mental retardation.
Pay Scale:Rs.225/- per session (maximum of 4 sessions a day)
Age Limit:as per rules.
