National Institute of Technology Calicut (NIT Calicut) invites applications for recruitment of Hostel Attendants, Mess Attendants, Plumbing and Electrical Attendants in Kozhikode. Last date for application is 15th June 2016.
Hostel Attendants
Experience:shall be capable of attending to the students facilities in NITC hostels, observing clearly the activities of students in day/night time, attending phone calls of officials of NITC, parents and reporting violations observed, if any, immediately to the Care taker/ Hostel Manager/ Warden. They shall also help the stewards/care takers/wardens as per requirements
Educational Qualification:7th std pass/equivalent
Pay Scale:Rs.300/- per day
Age Limit:as per rules.
Mess Attendants
Experience:shall be physically fit for the job to work in the students’ mess assisting cook, supplying food items to the students in a proper manner, cleaning of table and utensils/dishes etc. They shall also help cook in cooking job.
Educational Qualification:7th std pass/equivalent
Pay Scale:Rs.300/- per day
Age Limit:as per rules.
Plumbing and Electrical Attendants
Experience:shall attend the relevant plumbing and electrical maintenance works in the hostels.
Educational Qualification:ITI/ITC in relevant area/equivalent (desirable)
Pay Scale:Rs.350/- per day
Age Limit:as per rules.
