Institute of Microbial Technology (IMTECH) invites applications for recruitment of Research Associate (RA), Senior Project Fellow (SPF), Junior Research Fellow (JRF), Project Fellow (PF), Project Assistant (PA) and Research Intern in Chandigarh. Last date for application is 16th March 2016.
Research Associate (RA) - 04
Educational Qualification:Ph.D in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Computer science/ Technology, Pharma-informatics, Cheminformatics, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Bio-Chemistry, Chemistry, Bio-Physics, medical science, Pharmacology Desirable:- Practical research experience in the areas mentioned above
Pay Scale:Rs. 22000/- plus 20% HRA (As per rules)
Age Limit:35 years (age relaxation for sc/st/obc and women candidate as per govt. of india/csir instructions).
Senior Project Fellow (SPF) - 05
Educational Qualification:1st class M.Sc. in Life Science, Immunology, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Bioinformatics, Bio-Chemistry, Chemistry, Microbiology, Medical Lab Technology, Medical Sciences, Pharmacology with minimum 2 years relevant experience.
Pay Scale:Rs. 18000/- plus 20% HRA (As per rules)
Age Limit:32 years (age relaxation for sc/st/obc and women candidate as per govt. of india/csir instructions).
Project Fellow (PF) - 12
Educational Qualification:1st class M.Sc. in Microbiology / Biotechnology / Biochemistry/B.E./ B.Tech./M.Tech in Biotechnology, Biochemical Engineering/ Chemical Engineering/ Pharmaceutical Technology. Persons with experience in fermentation and with JRF-NET qualification or B.E./B.Tech./M.Tech. With GATE would be preferred.
Pay Scale:Rs. 18000/- plus 20% HRA (As per rules)

Junior Research Fellow (JRF) - 04
Educational Qualification:1st class M.Sc in Biotechnology, Life Science, Bio-chemistry, Chemistry, Bio Physics, Molecular Biology, Immunology, Microbiology, Cell Biology
Pay Scale:Rs. 25000/- plus 20% HRA (As per rules)
Age Limit:28 years (age relaxation for sc/st/obc and women candidate as per govt. of india/csir instructions).
Project Assistant (PA) - 05
Educational Qualification:1st class B.E/ B.Tech/MCA/ME/ M.Tech in Computer science/engineering /technology/application, Information I technology/application/science, communication, network, electronics.
Pay Scale:Rs.12,000/-per month
Age Limit:28 years (age relaxation for sc/st/obc and women candidate as per govt. of india/csir instructions).
Research Intern - 02
Educational Qualification:1st class M.Sc in Biotechnology, Life Science, Bio-chemistry, Chemistry, Bio Physics, Molecular Biology, Immunology, Microbiology, Cell Biology Desirable: Practical research experience in the above mentioned areas
Pay Scale:Rs.15,000/-per month
