Scientist-B (Medical/Epidemiologist (Public Health)
Educational Qualification:MBBS degree from recognized university with 2 years experience or equivalent degree from a recognized University. Desirable qualifications (i) Doctorate Degree in relevant science or MD in the related subject from a recognized university for candidates with first class relevant degree (ii Additional Post doctoral research/teaching experience in relevant subjects in relevant subjects in recognized institute(s) (iii) Knowledge of Computer Applications or Business Intelligence tools/ Data Management (iv) Two years R&D/Teaching experience in relevant subject after obtaining essential qualification.
Pay Scale:Rs.15600-39100 + Grade Pay Rs.5400/-
Age Limit:Not exceeding 35 years.

Educational Qualification:Graduate in any subject with five years experience of Accounts or Administration areas.
Pay Scale:Rs. 9300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs.4600/-

Scientist, Section Officer
The posts are purely temporary and co-terminable. Initially, employees shall be engaged on contract basis initially for a period of One Year. The term of engagement can be extended on yearly to year basis. Preference will be given to the candidates having the higher qualification and work experience. The selected candidates will have no claim for regular appointment under NIRTH/ICMR. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. Age may be relaxed in deserving cases. Interested candidates may appear for a walk- in -interview along with their application on plain paper, bio-data, two copies of an attested passport size colour photograph, attested copies of mark sheet and certificates of educational qualification starting from HSC, 10+2. All original certificates are also required for verification. They may also download the application format from the website of ICMR (www.icmr.nic.in) and NIRTH (www.nirth.res.in) and submit the duly filled application in the manner above at the time of walk-in interview. Late entry will not be considered.
