Job Description: Walk-in-Interview will be held on 26th October 2016 at 9:30 AM at Office, Department of Biomedical Engineering, North Eastern Hill University, Shillong-793022, Meghalaya. Vacancy Circular No: NEHU/BME/DBT-TWIN-2015/ 05 Junior Research Fellow (JRF) / Project Fellow (PF) Job Location: Shillong Last Date: 26th October 2016

Pay Scale: Rs. 25,000/- + 20% HRA for the 1st two years as a JRF and Rs. 28,000/- + 20% HRA per month for the 3rd year as a SRF and applicable, only if the JRF/SRF is NET/GATE/BET/BINC/ Professional Course qualified, otherwise it shall be Rs. 12,000/- + HRA per month for the 1st two years as a Project Fellow and Rs. 14,000/- + HRA per month for the 3rd year. No T.A or D.A will be paid to attend the interview

Qualification Required: M.Tech.(Biomedical Engineering / Orthotics & Prosthetics / Biomechanics / Rehabilitation / Manufacturing / Mechanical / Electronics), Master in Orthotics & Prosthetic or in relevant branch with a good knowledge in the field of design, microcontroller and fabrication of artificial limbs, preference may be given to NET/GATE/BET/BINC/Professional Course qualified candidates.
