Vacancy Circular No: NCAOR/ 69 /16 Junior Research Fellow (JRF) Job Location: Goa Last Date: 21st November 2016 Number of Vacancy: 6 Posts

Rs. 12,000-25,000/- Per Month (Consolidated) + (HRA).

Post No.1: (i) Master’s Degree in Earth Science/Geology/Marine Geology/Marine Sciences with 60% marks from a recognized university and NET /GATE/INSPIRE or equivalent qualification. Desirable: (i)Knowledge of Paleoclimatology/ Palaeoceanography/ Micropaleontology. Basic Training in microfossil studies preferably, siliceous and calcareous organisms. Post No.2: (i) Master’s Degree in Earth Science/Geology/Marine Geology/Marine Sciences with 60% marks from a recognized university and NET /GATE/INSPIRE or equivalent qualification. Desirable: (i) Knowledge of Paleoclimatology/ Palaeoceanography/ Micropaleontology. Basic training in microfossil studies preferably, siliceous and calcareous organisms. Post No.3: (i) Master’s Degree in Earth Science/Geology/Marine Geology/Marine Sciences with 60% marks from a recognized university and NET/GATE/INSPIRE or equivalent qualification. Desirable: (i) Knowledge of Paleoclimatology/ Palaeoceanography/ Isotope Geochemistry. Post No.4: (i) Masters degree in Marine Sciences / Environmental Sciences/ Earth Sciences with 60% marks from a recognized university and NET/GATE/INSPIRE or equivalent qualification. Desirable: (i) Training in marine chemistry or geochemical analysis. Post No.5: (i). Master’s degree in Physical Sciences / Earth Sciences with 60% marks from a recognized University and NET/GATE/INSPIRE or equivalent qualification OR M.Tech in Physical Sciences / Earth Sciences with 60% marks from a recognized University. (ii). Physical fitness for field work on high altitude Himalayan glaciers. Desirable: (i)Experience in scientific data processing and analysis. Post No.6: Master’s Degree in Earth Science/Geology/Marine Biology/Marine Sciences or equivalent with 60% marks from a recognized University. Desirable: (i) Knowledge of Paleoclimatology/Micropaleontology/Marine Biology/ Marine Chemistry. (iii) Basic knowledge on microfossils preferably, siliceous and calcareous organisms. (iii) Knowledge of computer.
