National Research Centre on Plant Biotechnology (NRCPB) invites applications for recruitment of Research Associate, Junior Research Fellow, Field Assistant and Technical Assistant in New Delhi. Last date for application is 2nd January 2016.
Field Assistant (FA) - 01
Experience:Desirable: Experience in making crosses in rice; Experience in working in rice research fields esp., where a rich germplasm/mutant resource is handled
Educational Qualification:10th or equivalent and experience in field work in relation to rice cultivation
Pay Scale:Rs. 10998/- Per Month
Age Limit:35 years.
Technical Assistant - 01
Experience:Desirable: Experience in handling administrative work/office support especially in multiinstitutional projects which are funded by an external agency; familiarity with all administrative and financial procedures to run such projects.
Educational Qualification:Graduate in any discipline and work experience of three years; working knowledge of computers esp., Ms Word and Ms Excel for handling documents and project expenditure
Pay Scale:Rs. 10998/- Per Month
Age Limit:35 years.
Junior Research Fellow (JRF) / Senior Research Fellow (SRF) - 03
Experience:Desirable: Research experience in Genomics (structural/functional) or molecular markers or transcriptome analysis Candidates with experience in sequencing, high throughput genotyping or data analysis will be preferred.
Educational Qualification:M.Sc in Biotechnology/Genetics or related field with 1st Division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average with NET (or) Graduate Degree in Professional course with NET qualification (or) Post Graduate Degree in Professional course
Pay Scale:Rs. 25000/? (+ 30% HRA)
Age Limit:35 years.
Research Associate - 01
Experience:Desirable: At least three years research experience in bioinformatic data analysis esp., NGS data analysis. Experience substantiated by publications of high quality will be preferred. Any additional experience of working with plants, especially mutant resources will be preferred.
Educational Qualification:Ph.D/MD/MS/MDS or equivalent degree or having 3 year of research, teaching and design and development experience after MVSc/M.Pharm/ME/M.Tech with at least one research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) Journal.
Pay Scale:Rs. 25000/? (+ 30% HRA)
Age Limit:35 years.
