Vector Control Research Centre (VCRC) invites applications for recruitment of Scientist in Puducherry. Last date for application is 10th March 2016.
Scientist-B (Medical)
Educational Qualification:MBBS degree recognized by MCI. Desirable: i. MD in Community Medicine/Social & Preventive Medicine / Microbiology / Pathology. ii. Additional Post doctoral research/teaching experience in subjects in recognized institute(s). iii. Two years R&D/ Teaching experience in relevant subject after obtaining essential qualification
Pay Scale:(PB-3) Rs.15600-39100 + Grade Pay of Rs.5400/-
Age Limit:not exceeding 35 years.
Scientist-B (Non-Medical)
Educational Qualification:1st Class Master’s degree in Microbiology from a recognized University. Or 2nd Class Master’s degree in Microbiology + Ph.D. in the relevant subject from a recognized University. Desirable: i. Doctorate in Microbiology from a recognized university. ii. Additional Post doctoral research/teaching experience in subjects related to vector-borne diseases and their control in recognized institute(s) iii. Knowledge of Computer Applications or Biostatistics/Data Management
Pay Scale:(PB-3) Rs.15600-39100 + Grade Pay of Rs.5400/-
Age Limit:not exceeding 35 years.
