University of Agricultural Sciences Dharwad (UASD) invites applications for recruitment of SMS/Technical Assistant/Facilitator in Dharwad. Last date for application is 25th July 2016.
Rs.15600-39100 + Grade Pay Rs.600/-
Good academic record with at least 55% of the marks or, an equivalent grade of B in 7 point scale with letter grades O, A, B,C, D, E & F at the Masters degree level, in concerned Subjects from a recognized Indian University or equivalent degree from a foreign University. Candidates should have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) in concerned Subjects for Assistant Professor post conducted by the ASRB/ UGC/CSIR or a similar test accredited by the ICAR/ICMR/NCERT/UGC/CSIR i.e., (a) For Agriculture/Animal Husbandry f veterinary disciplines, ASRB/ ICAR Net in the concerned Subject is prescribed (b) For Humanities, languages etc. UGC NET is prescribed (c) For pure science CSIR NET is prescribed. For the candidates having Masters degree NET shall remain compulsory along with one publication NAAS (National Academy of Agricultural Sciences, New Delhi) rated refereed Journal for recruitment to the post of Assistant Pröfessor and equivalent in the disciplines in which NET is conducted, Essentiality of NET can be waived off for the candidates holding Ph.D degree provided it has been done with course work as prescribed by the UGC regulations 2009, and the candidate has at least two full length publication (in journal) having NAAS rating not less than 4, on the last date of submission of applications. Those candidates with Ph.D degree without course work will not qualify for NET exemption. If NET passed candidates are not available, non-NET candidates witl be considered. Minimum Qualification prescribed for Technical Assistant: Degree in Agrif Allied Subject from Farm University. Minimum Qualification prescribed for Facilitator: B.Sc (Agri/hort.) with 5 years experience, 20 years experience in UAS' Department is preferred.
