Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) invites applications for recruitment of Skipper, Public Health Specialist, Specialist, Assistant Survey Officer, Training Officer, Deputy Director, Lecturer in New Delhi. Last date for application is 14th April 2016.

  1. Skipper - 02

    Educational Qualification:(i) 10th Standard. (ii) Certificate of Competency as Skipper of Fishing Vessel issued by Mercantile Marine Department OR Five years practical experience on board fishing vessel after obtaining Mate fishing Vessel Competency Certificate issued by Mercantile Marine Department.

    Pay Scale:(PB-3) Rs.15,600-39,100 + Grade Pay Rs.6600/-

    Age Limit:not exceeding 45 years.

  2. Public Health Specialist Grade-III - 24

    Educational Qualification: i) A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or second Schedule or part II of the Third schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Holders of Educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub-section (3) of section (13) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). ii) Post-Graduate Degree or Diploma in the concerned speciality or Super-speciality of Public Health i.e. MD (Social and Preventive Medicine) or MD (Community Medicine) or MD (Health Administration) or MD (Community Health Administration) or Diploma in Public Health or Diploma in Industrial Health or Master of Public Health or Diploma in Tropical Medicine or Diploma in Tropical Medicine and Hygiene.

    Pay Scale:(PB-3) Rs.15,600-39,100 + Grade Pay Rs.6600/-

    Age Limit:not exceeding 40 years.

  3. Specialist Grade III (Dermatology) - 09

    Educational Qualification: i) A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or second Schedule or part II of the Third schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Holders of Educational qualifications included in Part-II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub-section (3) of section (13) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). (ii) Post-Graduate Degree or Diploma in the concerned speciality or Super-speciality mentioned in Section-‘A’ or Section-B’ in Schedule-VI i.e. Doctor of Medicine (Dermatology) or Doctor of Medicine (Dermatology and Venereology) or Doctor of Medicine in Medicine with Diploma in Dermatology or Diploma in Dermatology.

    Pay Scale:(PB-3) Rs.15,600-39,100 + Grade Pay Rs.6600/-

  4. Specialist Grade III (Orthopaedics) - 06

    Educational Qualification: (i) A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or the Second Schedule or Part-II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Holders of educational qualifications included in Part-II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). ii) Post- Graduate degree or diploma in the concerned specialty or Super-speciality mentioned in Section A or Section B in Schedule VI i.e. Master of Surgery (Orthopaedics) or Diploma in Orthopaedics.

    Age Limit:not exceeding 40 years.

  5. Assistant Survey Officer - 03

    Educational Qualification: 1. Bachelor of Engineering or Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers (AMIE) or B.Tech Degree in Civil or Mining Engineering from a recognised University. 2. Two years’ experience in surveying including Total Station, GPS, Theodolite Surveying, traversing, levelling, contouring, Computer Software under registered Engineering or surveying establishment, Mine and Dam.

    Pay Scale:(PB-2) Rs. 9,300-34,800 with Grade Pay of Rs. 4,600/-

    Age Limit:not exceeding 30 years.

  6. Training Officer (Fitter) - 01

    Educational Qualification: (a)(i) Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering/Production Engineering or Technology from a recognized University or equivalent and (ii) two years’ post qualification experience in a workshop engaged in production or maintenance or servicing or teaching or training in a technical institute in the area of Fitting/Assembling. or (b) (i) Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/ /Production Engineering from a recognised University or Institute. (ii) five years’ post qualification experience in a workshop engaged in production or maintenance or servicing in the area of Fitting/Assembling. or five years’ post qualification experience in teaching or training in a technical Institute in the area of Fitting/Assembling. or five years’ post qualification experience in a workshop engaged in production or maintenance or servicing and in teaching or training in technical Institute in the area of Fitting/Assembling. or (i) passed Section A and B of the institution examinations of the institution of Engineering (India) or (ii) passed graduate membership examination of the Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (India).

  7. Training Officer (Welder) - 01

    Educational Qualification: (a)(i) Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering/Production Engineering /Metallurgy/Fabrication Technology Engineering or technology from a recognized University or equivalent and (ii) two years’ post qualification experience in a workshop engaged in production or maintenance or servicing or teaching or training in a technical institute in the area of Welding/Fabrication. or (b) (i) Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/ /Production Engineering/Metallurgy/Fabrication Technology Engineering from a recognised University or Institute. (ii) five years’ post qualification experience in a workshop engaged in production or maintenance or servicing in the area of Welding/Fabrication. or five years’ post qualification experience in teaching or training in a technical Institute in the area of Welding/Fabrication. or five years’ post qualification experience in a workshop engaged in production or maintenance or servicing and in teaching or training in technical Institute in the area of Welding/Fabrication. or (i) passed Section A and B of the institution examinations of the institution of Engineering (India) or (ii) passed graduate membership examination of the Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (India).

    Educational Qualification: Degree in Textile Manufacture / Textile Technology / Textile Engineering of a recognized University or equivalent. (i) About 7 (seven) years experience of working in and management of large textile mills of which 3 years should be in the Spinning and Weaving Department OR (ii) About 3 years experience in Textile Industry in the Spinning and Weaving Department, AND (iii) About 4 years experience in the Central / State Government or Semi-Government Organization with duties relating to development of Textile Industry, OR About 4 years experience in recognized technical institution (under a University connected with Textile Technology)

    Pay Scale:(PB-3) Rs.15600-39100/- plus Grade Pay Rs.6600/-

    Age Limit:not exceeding 53 years.

  13. Lecturer (Chemistry) - 01

    Educational Qualification: First Class Master’s Degree in appropriate branch viz., Chemistry with first class or equivalent at Bachelor’s or Master’s level.
