Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) invites applications for recruitment of Assistant Editor, Pathologist, Junior Scientific Officer and Various Posts in New Delhi. Last date for application is 14th January 2016.
Assistant Editor English - 02
Experience:two years experience of writing or editing or compiling articles in English on topics related to Agriculture or in audio-visual presentation or exhibitions in English on topics related to agriculture.
Educational Qualification:M.Sc in Agriculture or Agricultural Extension from a recognized University or Institute.
Pay Scale:Rs.9300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs.4600/-
Age Limit:not exceeding 30 years.
Associate Professor Arabic - 01
Experience:A minimum of eight years of experience of teaching and or research in an academic/research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University, College or Accredited Research Institution/Industry excluding the period of Ph.D research with evidence of published work and a minimum of five publications as books and or research/policy papers.
Educational Qualification: (i) Good academic record with a Ph.D degree in Arabic. (ii) A Master’s Degree in Arabic with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed. (iii) Contribution to educational innovation, design of new curricula and courses and technology mediated teaching learning process with evidence of having guided doctoral candidates and research students. (iv) A minimum score of 300 points as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS) by the University Grants Commission.
Pay Scale:Rs.37400-67000 + Grade Pay Rs.9000/-
Age Limit:not exceeding 30 years.
Chemical Examiner Grade-II - 10
Experience:Three years experience in Chemical analysis of different commodities/ Research in Analytical/ Organic/ Inorganic Chemistry.
Educational Qualification:Master’s Degree in Chemistry from a recognized University or equivalent. There is no equivalent qualification for Master’s degree in Chemistry.
Pay Scale:Rs.15600-39100 + Grade Pay of Rs. 5400/-
Age Limit:not exceeding 35 years.
Specialist Grade III Assistant Professor (Neonatology) - 03
Experience:At least three years’ teaching experience as Senior Resident or Tutor or Demonstrator or Registrar in the concerned Specialty or Super-speciality in a recognized teaching institution after obtaining the first Post graduate degree.
Educational Qualification: (i) A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or the Second Schedule or Part-II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Holders of educational qualifications included in Part-II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956).
Pay Scale:Rs.15600-39100 + Grade Pay of Rs. 6600/-
Age Limit:not exceeding 40 years.
Junior Scientific Officer (Physics) - 02
Experience:Two years experience of Analytical method and research in the field of Physics.
Educational Qualification:Master’s Degree in Physics/Biophysics/Forensic Science with Physics as one of the subjects at Bachelor of Science level from a recognized University or equivalent.
Pay Scale:Rs.9300-34800 + Grade Pay of Rs. 4600/-
Age Limit:not exceeding 30 years.
Junior Scientific Officer (Toxicology) - 01
Experience:Two years experience of Analytical method and research in the field of Toxicology.
Educational Qualification:Master’s Degree in Chemistry / Biochemistry / Pharmacology / Pharmacy / Forensic Science with Chemistry as one of the subjects at Bachelor of Science level from a recognized University or equivalent .
Pay Scale:Rs.9300-34800 + Grade Pay of Rs. 4600/-
Age Limit:not exceeding 30 years.
Joint Director - 01
Experience:seven years’ experience in conducting research or evaluation of adult education or production of literacy materials or books or teaching in adult or social education or rural development in the education department of a Central/State or Government or in any University or autonomous or statutory organization.
Educational Qualification: i) Master’s Degree in any subject from recognized University or Institute. ii) Degree or Diploma in Education or Adult Education or Sociology or Psychology or Statistics from a recognized University or Institute.
Pay Scale:Rs.15600-39100 + Grade Pay Rs.7600/-
Age Limit:not exceeding 50 years.
Assistant Director, Grade-I (Non-Technical) - 01
Experience:five years’ experience in a responsible capacity of work connected with Handloom or Textile Industry or Commerce or Industry in general together with Secretariat / Organizational Administrative experience.
Educational Qualification:Degree of a recognized University or equivalent.
Pay Scale:Rs.15600-39100 + Grade Pay Rs.7600/-
Age Limit:not exceeding 35 years.
Pathologist - 01
Experience:2 years’ work in a responsible position connected with the speciality in the case of post graduate degree holders and 4 years’ work in a responsible position connected with the speciality in the case of Post Graduate diploma holders.
Educational Qualification: (i) A recognized Medical Qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (Other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub- section (3) of Section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
Pay Scale:Rs.15600-39100 + Grade Pay Rs.6600/-
Age Limit:not exceeding 35 years.
