(i) Good academic record with a Ph.D. degree in the concerned/relevant disciplines. (ii) A Master's degree with at least 55%o marks (or an equivalent grade in point scale) in relevant discipline.
A minimum of eight years of experience in concerned/relevant subject as Assistant Professor/Scientist/ Lecturer/ Extension specialist or an equivalent position in the pre revised scale of 8000-13500 or new scale at AGP 5400i6000 or more in pay band of Rs. 15600-39100i ror alternatively eight years of combined experience of Assistant Professor or an equivalent position and high quality post doctoral research (excluding the period of Ph.D.) with a minimum of 5 publications as books and/or research/policy papers.
