As Per Rules
a) A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in the Part II of third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub- section (3) of Section 13 of the Act.). b) A postgraduate qualification of an Indian University or equivalent degree recognized by the Medical Council of India. c) The candidate must be registered with the State Medical Council/ MCI of India. Anaesthesia: A postgraduate qualification i.e. MD Anaesthesia of an Indian University/Institute recognized by Medical Council of India or MCI recognized qualification equivalent thereto fora teaching post. Hepatology: A postgraduate qualification i.e. DM Hepatology/Gastroenterology/ Pediatric Hepatology of an Indian University/Institute recognized by Medical Council of India or MCI recognized qualification equivalent thereto fora teaching post.Desirable:6 months experience in Hepatology for candidates with DM Gastroenterology qualification. Neurosurgery: A postgraduate qualification i.e. M.Ch(Neurosurgery) (3 years) of an Indian University / Institute recognized by Medical Council of India or MCI recognized qualification equivalent thereto for a teaching post.Or M.Ch. in Neurosurgery of six years Integrated course after MBBS. Obst. & Gyane.: A postgraduate qualification i.e. MD/MS(Obstetrics and Gynaecology) of an Indian University / Institute recognized by Medical Council of India or MCI recognized qualification equivalent thereto for a teaching post.
Only Anaesthesia & Obst. & Gyane: Three years teaching and research experience in arecognized Institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifyingdegree of MD/MS.

The candidates may submit the applications in the O/o Asstt. Administrative Officer, Recruitment Cell, Kairon Block, PGIMER, Sector 12, Chandigarh on 13.10.2016 upto 4.00 p.m by hand, through speed post, etc. The candidates should submit their application/bio-data in triplicate along with all the documents/certificates in support of their claim and three photocopies of each document including three passport size latest photographs on 13.10.2016. All the original certificates/documents will be verified at the time of interview. The candidate having prescribed qualification/experience should appear for interview on 14.10.2016 at 10:00 AM in the Committee Room, Director’s office (Administrative Block), Kairon Block, PGIMER,Chandigarh.
