A candidate must possess such minimum qualifications as appended in the scheduled of the Architects Act, 1972, which are given below and they must be registered Architects: (a) Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, awarded by Indian Universities established by an Act of the Central or State Legislature; (b) National Diploma (Formerly All-India Diploma) in Architecture, awarded by the All-India Council for Technical Education; (c) Degree of Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.), awarded by the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur;
