Job Description: National Institute of Tuberculosis and Respiratory Diseases (NITRD) invites applications for recruitment of Specialist Grade II (TB&CD), Health Education Officer in New Delhi . Last date for application is 15th December 2016 . Vacancy Circular No: October 2016

Specialist Grade II (TB&CD)

Educational Qualification:(i) A recognized medical qualification included in the I or II schedule or Part-II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956. (Persons possessing qualifications included in Part-II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub-section of section 13 of the Act). A postgraduate qualification e.g. M.D. in TB and Respiratory Diseases from an Indian University or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto. OR Diploma in TB and Chest Diseases.

Pay Scale:Rs.15600-39100 + Grade Pay Rs.6600/-

Age Limit:Upto 45 years (Relaxable for Government servants upto five years in accordance with the instruction or orders issued by the Central Government).

Health Education Officer

Educational Qualification: (i) Master Degree in Anthropology/ Sociology/ Psychology/ Social work from a recognized University or equivalent; and (ii) Diploma in Health Education or M.P.H. (majoring in Health Education) or equivalent – qualification from a recognized Institution. (iii) 3 years research/training experience in Community Health work/social education field. Desirable: Experience in production/ development of Health Education material such as pamphlets, posters film strips, exhibits etc. (ii) Preference will be given to those who have experience in I.E.C. in the field of Tuberculosis.

Pay Scale: Rs.15600-39100 + Grade Pay Rs.5400/-

Age Limit:Upto 35 years. (Relaxable for Government servants upto 05 years in accordance with the instructions or orders issued by Central Government).
