M.Sc. (OR equivalent) in Life Science/ Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ Molecular Biology/ Biotechnology / Zoology/ Environmental Science or related subjects with 60% of marks or 6.50 CGPA in 10 point scale for GATE or NET of UGC/CSIR/ ICMR/DBT/ICAR (Lectureship/JRF) candidates OR M.Tech. in Env. Engineering, Chemical Engineering. or Biotechnology. Relaxation in GATE may be given to the outstanding experienced candidates. Desirable: Research experience or knowledge in biofilm, microbial bioremediation, and environmental microbiology will be preferred.
