Engineering: BE/B.Tech and ME/MTech in relevant branch with 1st class (60% or 6.75 grade point) either in bachelors or Masters degree from a recognized institution/university (for equivalence UG/PG degree refer Annex-1) and should have qualified through GATE exam. Mathematics: M.Sc Mathematics with first class and should have cleared NET/SET or PhD as per UGC 2009 minimum standard & procedure. Physics: M.Sc Physics with first class and should have cleared NET/SET or PhD as per UGC 2009 minimum standard & procedure. Chemistry: M.Sc Chemistry with first class and should have cleared NET/SET or PhD as per UGC 2009 minimum standard & procedure. Geology/Applied Geology: M.Sc/M.Sc Tech in Geology/Applied Geology/Engineering Geology with first class and should have cleared NET/SET or PhD as per UGC 2009 minimum standard & procedure. English: MA English with first class and should have cleared NET/SET or PhD as per UGC 2009 minimum standard & procedure.
