National Instructional Media Institute (NIMI) invites applications for recruitment of Data Processing Assistant, Draftsman, Vary Type Operator, Stenographer, Data Entry Operator, Lower Division Clerk (LDC), Driver, Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) in Chennai. Last date for application is 9th March 2016.
Data Processing Assistant Grade-A - 02
Educational Qualification: 1) Passed in matriculation or equivalent examination. 2) Diploma in Computer Science with 8 years experience in Programming, System Operations/ Data processing (OR) Degree in Computer Applications / Computer Science with 6 years experience in Programming, System Operations/ Data processing (OR) Degree in Science with PG Diploma in Computer Application from a recognized University with 5 years experience in Programming, System Operations / Data processing. (OR) BE/B.Tech/Equivalent in Computer Science with one-year experience in Programming, System Operations/ Data processing. Desirable: 1. Programming Knowledge in Visual Basic.
Pay Scale:Rs.9300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs.4200/-
Age Limit:18-30 years.
Draftsman - 04
Educational Qualification: 1. Passed in Matriculation or its equivalent examination with Science and mathematics. 2.National Trade Certificate in the trade of Draughtsman Mechanical followed by 3 Years experience in using AutoCAD. OR National Apprenticeship Certificate in the trade of Draughtsman Mechanical followed by 2 years experience in using AutoCAD. OR Diploma in Mechanical engineering or equivalent followed by 2 years experience using AutoCAD.
Pay Scale:Rs.5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs.2800/-
Age Limit:18-30 years.
Vary Type Operator - 01
Educational Qualification: (a) Passed in Matriculation or equivalent examination. (b) National Trade Certificate in Computer Operator and Programming Assistant course/ Data Preparation and Computer Software/ DTPO Course with 4 years of experience in data entry in PC. (or) Diploma in Computer Science with 3 years experience in data entry in PC. (or) Degree in Computer Science or Computer Application from a recognized University with 1-year experience in Data entry in PC (or) Any degree with PGDCA from recognized university with one year experience in data entry in PC. (C) Should possess a speed of not less than 8000 key depressions per hour for Data Entry Work. Note: The Speed of 8000 key depressions per hour for data entry work is to be judged by conducting a speed test on the EDP machines by the Competent Authority. Desirable: 1) Knowing Hindi typing and working knowledge in handling Hindi Software for Data entry.
Pay Scale:Rs.5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs.2800/-
Age Limit:18-28 years.
Stenographer Grade-III - 01
Educational Qualification: 1. Passed in Matriculation or its equivalent examinations. 2. Should possess a speed of not less than 100 words per minute in Shorthand and not less than 40 words per minute in typewriting. 3. 8 years experience as Personal Assistant/Secretary. Desirable: 1. Diploma in secretarial practice 2. NTC in Secretarial practice 3. Knowledge in Operating office Machines. 4. Certificate course in Computer applications from recognized Institute. (MS-Office, E-mail, The Internet).
Pay Scale:Rs.5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs.2400/-
Age Limit:18-28 years.
Data Entry Operator Grade-A - 01
Educational Qualification: (a) Passed in Matriculation or equivalent examination. (b) National Trade Certificate in Computer Operator and Programming Assistant course/ Data Preparation and Computer Software/ DTPO Course with 4 years of experience in data entry in PC. Or Diploma in Computer Science with 3 years experience in data entry in PC (or) Degree in Computer Science or Computer Application from a recognized University with 1-year experience in Data entry in PC (or) Any degree with PGDCA from recognized university with one year experience in data entry in PC. (C) Should possess a speed of not less than 8000 key depressions per hour for Data Entry Work.
Pay Scale:Rs.5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs.2400/-
Age Limit:18-28 years.
Lower Division Clerk (LDC) - 03
Educational Qualification: 1. Passed in Matriculation or its equivalent examination 2. Minimum speed of 30 words per minute in typewriting 3.Certificate course in Computer applications (MS Office) from recognized Institute. Desirable: 1. Knowledge in Operating office Machineries 2. Knowledge in accounting, file keeping etc.
Pay Scale:Rs.5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs.1900/-
Age Limit:18-28 years.
Driver - 01
Educational Qualification: 1. 8th Standard Pass. 2. Possessing Professional Skill in Driving 3. Knowledge of motor mechanism 4. Holding Valid Permanent driving license for cars and heavy vehicle 5. Five Years experience in driving.
Pay Scale:Rs.5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs.1900/-
Age Limit:23-30 years.
Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) - 02
Educational Qualification: 1. 8th Standard Pass. 2. Should have 2 years experience in the line.
