National Institute Of Technology Silchar (NIT Silchar) invites applications for recruitment of Professor, Assistant Professor in Silchar. Last date for application is 20th May 2016.
Professor
Experience:10 years after Ph. D or 13 years total [not counting Ph. D enrolment period] out of which 7 years are to be after Ph. D.
Educational Qualification:First Class Post Graduates with Ph. D. in relevant discipline and having consistently very good academic record.
Pay Scale:Rs.37400-67000 + Grade Pay Rs.10000/-
Age Limit:preferably below 60 years.
Assistant Professor
Experience:10 years after Ph. D or 13 years total [not counting Ph. D enrolment period] out of which 7 years are to be after Ph. D.
Educational Qualification:First Class Post Graduate with Ph. D. in relevant discipline and having consistently very good academic record. Additional Desirable Requirement: 1 (one) publication in SCI journal
Pay Scale:Rs.15600-39100 + Grade Pay Rs.6000/-
Age Limit:as per rules.
