National Institute of Plant Genome Research (NIPGR) invites applications for recruitment of Senior Research Fellow (SRF), Research Associate (RA) in New Delhi. Last date for application is 3rd May 2016.
Senior Research Fellow (SRF) - 02
Educational Qualification:Candidates having M.Sc./M.Tech. Degree (with minimum 60% marks) in Life Sciences/Biotechnology/Bioinformatics/Plant Molecular Biology or any other related field with at least two years research experience (supported by atleast one publication in peer-reviewed international journal with JCR impact factor) are eligible to apply. Candidates having experience in advanced techniques of molecular biology an/or plant virology will be given preference.
Pay Scale:As Per DST/DBT norms & as sanctioned in the project.
Age Limit:as per rules.
Research Associate (RA) - 01
Educational Qualification:Candidates having Ph.D. degree (awarded) in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Molecular Biology or any other related field are eligible to apply. The candidate should have a good academic record and research experience. At least 3 publications in peer-reviewed international journals with JCR impact factor are desirable. Candidates having computer skills (Linux, Perl, Java, MySQL) with experience in NGS and/or advanced molecular biology techniques is desired.
