National Institute of Hydrology (NIH) invites applications for recruitment of Scientist in Anywhere in India. Last date for application is 21st August 2016.
Scientist D - 01
Experience:(1)Experience of 6years in Research & Development organizations and/or academic and/or industrial institutions, out of which at least 2 years should be at Scientist C or equivalent level (GP of Rs 6,600) or 5 years at Scientist B or equivalent level (GP of Rs 5,400). (2)Organizational experience in a recognized scientific / technical institution, preferably dealing with the relevant areas of hydrology and water resources.
Educational Qualification:Post Graduate degree in engineering in any one of the following specializations: Water Resources/ Hydrology/ Hydraulics/ Irrigation/Environmental Engg./ Remote Sensing & GIS AND having B.E./ B.Tech. degree or equivalent in : Civil Engg. /Agricultural Engg. OR Ph.D. in any one of the following specializations: Water Resources/ Hydrology/ Physics/ Chemistry/ Earth Sciences/ Geo hydrology/ Hydrogeology/ Water Quality. Discipline in which the candidate should have Post Graduate degree: Water Resources/Hydrology/Physics/Chemistry/Earth Science.
Pay Scale:Rs. 15,600-39,100 plus Grade Pay Rs.7600/-
Age Limit:below 50 years.
Scientist C - 05
Experience:a) Experience of 3 years in R & D organizations and/or academic and/or industrial institutions, out of which at least 2 years at Scientist B or equivalent level (GP of Rs 5,400). b) Organizational experience in a recognized scientific/technical institution, preferably dealing with the relevant areas of hydrology and water resources (as evidenced by publications in reputed national and international journals dealing with hydrology and water resources). c) Experience of working in research projects.
Educational Qualification:B.E./B.Tech. degree or equivalent in any one of the following: Civil Engg./ Agricultural Engg. / Instrumentation, OR Post-graduate degree in any one of the following: Water Resources/Physics/ Chemistry/Hydrology/Earth Sciences/ Instrumentation.
Pay Scale:Rs. 15,600-39,100 plus Grade Pay Rs.6600/-
Age Limit:below 40 years.
Scientist B - 06
Experience:Experience of 2 years in Research & Development organizations and/or academic and/or industrial institutions.
Educational Qualification:B.E./B.Tech. degree or equivalent in any one of the following: Civil Engg./ Agricultural Engg. / Instrumentation, OR Post-graduate degree in any one of the following: Water Resources/Physics/ Chemistry/Hydrology/Earth Sciences/ Instrumentation.
Pay Scale:Rs. 15,600-39,100 plus Grade Pay Rs.5400/-
Age Limit:below 35 years.
