Job Description: National Institute for the Mentally Handicapped (NIMH) invites applications for recruitment of Lecturer, Rehabilitation Therapist, Lower Division Clerk (LDC)/Typist, Attender in Secunderabad. Last date for application is 9th May 2016.

Lecturer in Rehabilitation Psychology - 01
Educational Qualification: 1. Two year M.Phil in Clinical Psychology or Rehabilitation Psychology from reputed Institutions such as NIMHANS, Bangalore, CIP, Ranchi and NIMH, Secunderabad etc. OR Ph.D in Child/ Experimental/Community/ Educational Psychology as per the requirement of the particular position available for recruitment. 2. Registered as a professional with MCI/RCI 3. Two years experience of teaching/research in the relevant field.
Pay Scale:(PB-3) Rs.15600-39100 + Grade Pay Rs.5400/-
Age Limit:not exceeding 45 years.
Rehabilitation Therapist - 01
Educational Qualification:Bachelor’s Degree in Mental Retardation/ Bachelor’s Degree in Rehabilitation Therapy/ Bachelor’s Degree in Rehabilitation Services (Mental Retardation) OR Postgraduate Diploma in Early Intervention OR Postgraduate Diploma in Rehabilitation Psychology Desirable: Experience of working with persons with mental handicap.
Pay Scale:(PB-1) Rs.5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs.2800/-
Age Limit:not exceeding 35 years.
Lower Division Clerk (LDC)/Typist - 01
Educational Qualification: 1.SSLC or equivalent examination 2. Typing lower (30 w.p.m) in English Desirable: Experience of typing in Hindi
Pay Scale:(PB-1) Rs.5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs.1900/-
Age Limit:18-28 years.
Attender - 01
Educational Qualification:10th class or equivalent pass.
Pay Scale:(PB-1) Rs.5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs.1800/-
Age Limit:18-28 years.
