Scientist
Educational Qualification: Ph.D. submitted in Chemistry or Chemical Science. Desirable Qualification and Experience: Candidate with a Ph.D. degree awarded and having research experience in the area of material (catalyst) characterization / C1 chemistry is preferred. The candidates having experience in Product Development/Technology Innovation/Applied Technology etc. will be preferred. Job Specification: The incumbent will be involved in projects related to catalyst characterization and lower alkanes chemistry. He/she will also conduct independent research in the area of catalysis and inorganic materials.
Pay Scale:Rs.15600-39100 + Grade Pay Rs.6600/-
Age Limit:32 years.

Senior Scientist
Educational Qualification: Ph.D. in Chemistry or Chemical Science with 2 years of relevant experience OR Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering. Desirable Qualification and Experience: Candidate with a minimum of 3 years of research experience after Ph.D. (as evidenced by publications in international peer reviewed journals/patents) in the areas of heterogeneous catalysis, catalyst characterization by (in-situ/operando) spectroscopy and renewable (biomass / CO2) conversion to fuels/chemicals is preferred. The candidates having experience in Product Development/Technology Innovation/Applied Technology etc. will be preferred.
Pay Scale:Rs.15600-39100 + Grade Pay Rs.7600/-
Age Limit:37 years.
