National Centre for Antarctic & Ocean Research (NCAOR) invites applications for recruitment of Project Scientist C, Project Scientist B, Project Scientific Assistant Grade A and Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in Goa. Last date for application is 10th March 2016.
Project Scientist C - 01
Experience:Three years experience in research and development in the field of Marine Microbial Ecology and Biogeochemistry supported by scientific publications.
Educational Qualification:Masters Degree in Marine Science or Marine Biology or equivalent from a recognized university with atleast 60% marks in the qualifying degree level.
Pay Scale:(PB-3) Rs.15600-39100 + Grade Pay Rs. 6600/- + HRA, DA as per GOI norms
Age Limit:40 years.
Project Scientist B - 01
Educational Qualification:Masters Degree in Geology/Applied Geology or equivalent from a recognized university with atleast 60% marks in the qualifying degree level. Desirable: (i) Two years of experience in the field relevant to the nature of responsibilities. (ii) Experience in thin section studies of rocks using microscope, SEM- EDS/EPMA.
Pay Scale:(PB-3) Rs.15600-39100 + Grade Pay Rs. 5400/- + HRA, DA as per GOI norms
Age Limit:35 years.
Project Scientific Assistant Grade A - 01
Educational Qualification: (i) Three years Diploma in engineering (Electronics & Communication/Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering/Technology) after 10+2 (with 60% marks) or its equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University. (ii) Basic knowledge of Computer.
Pay Scale:(PB-2) Rs.9300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs. 4200/- + HRA, DA as per GOI norms
Age Limit:35 years.
