A consistently good academic record with M.E./M.Tech./ M.Sc. in Computer Sciences Electronics/ Information Technology. Programming skill in C is essential. Preference will be given to candidates who have good knowledge in data structures, algorithms, Electronic design.

Candidates appearing for the selection are required to bring with them a signed application addressed to the Professor-in-Charge, Computer and Communication Sciences Division, Advanced Computing & Microelectronics Unit, 5th Floor, PJA Building, Indian Statistical Institute, 203 B.T. Road, Kolkata - 700 108 along with bio-data stating (a) Name (In block letters), (b) Mailing Address, (c) E-mail Address (d) Telephones Mobile No., (e) Parent's Spouse Name, (f) Date of birth, (g) Academic Qualifications (with percentage of marks obtained in each examination), (h) Experience (if any), (i) SC/ST/OBC/differently abled status along with originals and attested copies of all documents/testimonials. Candidates will have to report at the office of the Advanced Computing and Microelectronics Unit, Indian Statistical Institute, 203 B.T. Road, Kolkata - 700 108 on the day of the interview half an hour before the starting time of the interview. If required, candidates may have to appear for a written test before the interview.
