Librarian - 01

Experience:A minimum of 13 years of experience in Library Management as a Deputy Librarian in a University Library or 18 years as College Librarian. Evidence of innovative library service and organization of published work. Desirable: i) M.Phil/Ph.D. degree in the above discipline and/or allied discipline ii) Experience in computerization of a large Technical Library iii) Evidence of published work with a minimum of 5 books and/ or publications in indexed journals.

Educational Qualification:Master’s degree in Library Science/Information Science with at least 55% or its equivalent grade where grading system is practiced, with a consistently good academic record.

Pay Scale:Rs.37,400-67,000 + Academic Grade Pay Rs. 10,000/- and allowances as admissible.

Age Limit:50 years.

Assistant Librarian - 01

Educational Qualification: a) A Master’s Degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation Science or an equivalent professional degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) and a consistently good academic record with knowledge of computerization of library. b) Qualifying in the national level test conducted for the purpose by the UGC or any other agency approved by the UGC.

Pay Scale:Rs.15,600-39,100 + Academic Grade Pay Rs. 6,000/- and allowances as admissible.

Age Limit:35 years.

Security Assistant - 01

Educational Qualification:Graduate. Experience: Minimum three years Security Supervisory experience in a reputed organization. Preference will be given to ex-military/police personnel/ Home Guard Trained person. Desirable: Knowledge of working on computers.

Pay Scale:Rs.5,500-20,200 + Academic Grade Pay Rs. 2,800/- and allowances as admissible.

Age Limit:35 years.
