Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology (IITM) invites applications for recruitment of Director in Pune. Last date for application is 20th March 2016.
Rs.67000-(annual increment @ 3%)-79000/- and other allowances as per the rules of the Institute.
Master?s degree in Physics or Chemistry or Geophysics or Geology or Oceanography or Atmospheric Science or any other subject specified in the relevant field with at least first class (60%) at graduation as well as post graduation level or Bachelor?s degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized University or equivalent. Desirable: - i) Ph. D in any branch of Science related in the relevant field or Master?s degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized University.
21 years? (18 years with Ph.D) experience in research and development, survey, administration, planning, teaching (at graduate or post graduate level), supervision or training in the relevant field. Desirable: - Experience in policy making, planning or management related to Meteorology and Atmospheric Science activities or management of projects in the relevant field.
